Thanks Vaughn. I think keeping a matched set is preferrable too. I already went through my generator and all looked good and the brushes were still servicable. I'm leaning toward an intermittant wire in the wiring or one attached to the solonoids in the regulator but was curious where a regulator could be obtained and how much they cost if I need to replacwe it.
