Even the Poly high performance pistons are flat, but should have "notches" for the valves. The Poly is a tad higher in compression than the wedge design because of the "squelch pads" in the head. Flat pistons only clear by less than an eighth, so any domed piston would result in a real loud knocking noise,....but not for long...= )
