As fuel prices went up and competition gets fierce (everybody wants a cheap haul) more and more independent unregulated "hot shot" type haulers that are getting loads under the radar more and more p---off the truckers. So the regulated truckers are complaining to the ICC and state regulators to bring the hammer down on us little guys that "threaten them". Percieved or real the "threat" is being heard and they will nail them if they can. Aside from safety it's all revenue and the beaurocrates want every crumb of revenue they can squeeze out of us these days. It will get worse. Be careful out there.
