Hi Nick,
The tent has provisions for a stove but we dont have one. So, a campfire to keep warm and cook over during the day ans a warm sleeping bag at night! I always boil a quart of water just before bedtime and put it into a nalgene bottle. Slip that puppy into the sleeping bag and it will warm up the coldest feet right away and stay warm all night long. I normally have a -20 bag that I just love but in the last minute rush to get out friday afternoon I left it at home. My Troop has 4 military extreme cold weather bags for kids to use who dont hav ewinter bags. I used one of those this weekend and was just as toasty as if I had been in my own bag. I dont know what they are rated at but they are nice!
