Hey thanks, Rob, already tried that, and added a trailer too and it was okay; but interested in a classic Power Wagon style, so trying to explore other options. I like back roads and wilderness, so PW .....?

As to other comments, I never said I want to cruise the freeways, let alone at 85 mph! I can do that easily now, or at 125 in one of my Dodges, but prefer about 50, thanks. My interest is in a vintage Power Wagon for the same basic reasons as anybody else around here. I've already got the big block, automatic and power everything W-200 freeway cruiser mobile, and a built 360 for long distance travel in my Town Wagon, plus the 440 machine.

I was asking a polite and friendly question about the practicality of using a WM-300 to carry a medium load for long distances at normal operating speeds. Sounds like somebody is assuming I'm 'Not from around here' before asking where I'm from!

I'll solve the problem for all of us and use the same door I came in through.
