I saw one of these in a flat fender. The guy was from Denver and he brought it out to Rocky MTN. rally one year. It had a utility body and he used it every day as a shop truck for a big repair shop or construction co. Worked great. He ran the trails with us with it fully loaded. Detroits are a bit noisy and they always leak oil. They only built this aluminum version for the Gama Goat. I think it is about 100# less than the regular version. They have great power and torgue. I had a Gama Goat for a number of years. With 10 or 12 people in the back it would climb sand hills that most 4X4 struggled on. Gobs of torgue. Used a chevy truck trans.
