Hi to all,
I am looking at putting one of these two motors (Poly 318 or LA 318) into a project and would like same advise on which might do the better job.
Both engines have to be rebuilt.I do`nt know if there is a big difference in price here.
The truck is a daily driver, some days 5 miles others 300miles(about 20K a year)
Is always carrying 1/2 ton of tools an equipment,but not uncommon to have a full ton on the back.
I am not after gutrenching HP. I want a good reliable motor with good torque and reasonable running costs.
If any of you have any advise it would be great to here from you .
