wear & tear has nothing to do with the "AGE" of the vehicle
parts are going to wear out with use like
any other piece of equipment and if you think
"rice burners" as you call them are going to be any cheaper to operate you are in dreamland
go price a part for your Mopar and then call
a toyota or honda dealer and see what the same part will cost you like 3 times more
as a footnote check the Serial number on your truck if it starts with a 1 made in the USA
2 = made in Canada, 3 = Hecho in Mexico
