The way it works is the first truck built in CA was serial number 88750001.

So you take 88750000 and subtract that from any 887 serial number to get the production sequence.

You have one of the lowest number trucks I have heard of, more details please!!

As for the WB, check carefully, many trucks were used VERY hard, and I have seen more then one that was shortened a little bit do to a broken frame.

Another possiblity is that there was some shift in the axles somehow, I have found a few trucks with a WB that was off by an inch or so do to worn parts, etc.
