When I was in the army I had a crew of FNG's doing preventive Maint on about 8 2 1/2 tons and this big old black fella got his 1/2 X 9/16 long double box end and connected it from the terminal to the battery box. He ran away white as a ghost and screaming, I grabed a 1" wrench and threw it over and suprizingly knoked it loose. Everyone thought it was gonna blow those batts. I knew it could have happened.. But no one was hurt, it was a good chance for all to try testing the batteries.
