After Cord went out of business, Graham and Hupmobile bought the body dies from Cord and used them to produce their Hollywood and Skylark models, respectively.

The later makes had a slightly more conventional grill, conventional headlights.
Cord used a flathead V-8, 4-spd overdrive transmission and front wheel drive. Graham and Hupp used a puny flathead six with rear wheel drive. Like Cord, they offered a supercharger, but gone were the chrome pipes running form hood to fender.

There was one four-wheel-drive Cord built in the 1940's, but it was demolished by and overzealous restorer in the 1990s who thought it should be restored to its original show-room, 2WD condition.
