Paul, I've got a Lock Right in my WDX which I've been driving intermittently this winter here in Anchorage. Where before with open differentials and an old set of NDT's, I would either get stuck or have the rear end come around on me while turning a corner; Now with the Lock Right in the rear and a set of STA's, the truck truck goes straight on through without any problems. Of course for fear of breaking an axle I've gone easy on the accelerator while driving on hard pack snow and ice. Plus I've only got a 218 engine in my truck and the acceleration isn't exactly instantaneous. Another thing, go easy on the brakes. If you need to hit the brakes hard, like for a panic stop, if you are hard pack snow or ice, it will try to lock up the rear end and things could get squirely then. Robert
