I agree, GMC/Chevy cab on a WC 3/4 ton chassis.

I am guessing the hood was made taller to fit the cab, and the floor was used out of the WC as it fit the frame, and the cab roof was grafted on top.

Best guess this was a WC-51 with some heavy duty modifications, not uncommon around Europe in the 50s and 60s.

Wait until Gordon wakes up, I am sure he will tell us stories about similar trucks he has seen.
