I finally got the engine free in my carryall and was preparing to do a starrt up. Since I had dumped about two qts. of Mystrey Oil down the cylinders and had loaded the crank case with 12 qts. of Walmart oil, I decided to drain all the engine oil and replace it with fresh oil. I took what I thought was the engine drain plug out and drained it. I expected a ton of oil and all I got was about two qts? Thank heaven I poseponed the start up for the next morning. I had accidently drained out the transmission oil!
Can anyone tell me what kind of gear oil to put back in it and a good non-detergent oil for the engine. Robert.
