On my Chevy if you droped the front drive shaft you could smoke the rear tires. No way could I seem to break them loose when it was hooked up and in any posision on the shifter. I was told the Full Time when you locked it in gave 50/50 power to the diffs and when it was not locked it would transfer the power 20/80, 60/40 ect just depending on traction to the tires. Mark H.
