I haven't used either product and unless I plan to show a truck I probably wouldn't, do to the cost. I am a big fan of Restoleum Rusty Metal Primer as the base coat. With it's fish oils that go into the poures of the metal and applied correctly, it seals extremely well, to the point that paint remover will not bubble it up. You do not have to remove all rust from the surface of the metal, although you can, just loose rust. I use it and Rustoleum semi-gloss black paint. Stands up well to the Sun's rays and is easy to repair any area needing repainting.
