I've used both Rhino and Line-X. Rhino is softer, but holds better than Line-X. They are different chemical compositions. The Line-X gets slicker and harder with age, Rhino has a condiitoner than can be wiped on it to restore UV damage (fading). The Line-X started to chip and lift after a few years. The Rhino is tougher, but will gouge, there is a trade-off between the two, since Line-x is hard and brittle, Rhino is soft and pliable. Note: when I say hard and/or soft I am talking about relative to each other, not in relationship to other materials. I have also tried the do-it yourself coatings, the small savings was not worth the vast difference in quality.
The bed in the photo is a Rhino, 11' long, and has stayed that special color for nearly three years with little fading, it is however, as noted in the photo, not self cleaning.....ha!ha!
