radiator hosefor 48 b1pw

i just put my engine in my 48 b1. problem is the hose from block to radiator is different size on each end. parts store has bushing and uni. hose but radiator comes out on left side of tanktop and block is staight forward. it puts quite a bend in hose and pressure on pipe. do i have the wrong rad? as far as i know it is all stock. pics would help alot thanks jan
