Also, as an aside, the 20 ga wire was fine for 460/480 3 phase, but 230/240 would take a larger size, as much as 12 ga. depending upon the amperage. It is amazing how little amperage draw there is on 480 3 phase. That's why you see that size voltage on most industrial motors.
