Ron we used Mortons bedliner spray on dads 57 300C. It is about $150 for the kit plus you will need a Schutz gun that splatters the stuff on there for another $20. Gun is reusable if cleaned up properly. Just mask off and tape stuff you don't want it on and all will be fine. You can go as light or heavy as you want on the spray and do at your own leisure.
Highly recommended by street rodders and by the price of the stuff it ain't the cheapo bondo brand in the rattle can stuff. Very tough and cleans up good when still soft. When you spray mask off everything and I mean everything around in the shop you don't want to get it onto. That schutz gun isn't all that accurate. Mortons can be purchased at an auto paint supply place. Hope this helps I've used the stuff several times on different projects.
