Thanks to everyone for their input. We have had Rhino done to two truck beds with success on one and dealer error on the other ( they are no longer dealers). I appreciate all comments and I told the dealer about my concern of removing the tranny cover which he said would not be a problem. Paul, I understand your concern with dirt and that was another thing I wondered about. Along with preserving the floors condition I feel it would help with noise issue too. We just picked up my wife's PT after they installed her remote starter (should be good for some brownie points) and if they hadn't been so busy I was going to go into more details. My best bet is to take it in for them to look it over and get a plan on how to do this project. One other thing as I was standing there looking at their samples of Rhino,I got to thinking what if they put down a plastic membrane on the floor and sprayed it.This would be a form fitting floor mat that would be removeable I would think. I am going to investigate this when I go back.
