I have a 35 hp Kioti, 3 cyl diesel. At about 100 hours, it blew a head gasket during the winter. I had been using this to blow snow, so it hurt ot lose it.
It was just outside the warranty period. Kioti gave me a new cyl head but nothing else, the bill to be was over $800.
I actually prefer to use the Ferguson TO-20 when possible. It rides better, and even after 55 years of use, it still works well. I use a Zane Thang to get position control on the 3 pt hitch.
I do like the front bucket on the Kioti and power is better than the Fergie which is important for snow blowing.
In summary, I'd say the Kioti is servicable but not impressive. It is inexpensive however so it makes sense for those without extreme needs.
