It was definitely a '58 'cause the running joke was that everyone would comment about my OLD truck, and I'd have to smile at my wife, 'cause it was the same year as her! Also, it was as original as they come. I was the third owner after it was sold from an estate in Denver. It had less than 45,000 miles on it and every componant was original except for the ball hitch bolted to the rear bumper. It had a rare stock woven basket-grass headliner that was in mint shape. I sold it to a collector friend of mine in Canton, OH where it was filmed for a Goodyear promo video representing Goodyear's presence in the evolution of SUV's. Very nice footage of the Willys wagon in b/w morphing into a new Grande Cherokee. It was definitely 6V original. I can't comment on any hard and true year model where the Willys switched from 6V to 12V. Bruce
