I'll post here instead of e-mailing you so others will see it and know too.

This seat came out of a early 90's Dakota. I just watched the paper and waited, then one day this was advestised for $25(it was new, the guy had leather interior installed and put this in storage until he sold the truck). Just pull the headrests off(which I have since this photo) and it looks like it belonged there all along.
I made an adapter plate out of a piece of 1/2" plate that fit the shape of the bottom of the Dakota seat and with the same curve as the original seat box so it looked correct and not out of place. I cut the tops of the original seat position pins off(just the very top so you have a hollow tube to put a bolt through) so I could bolt it down. I used a piece of pipe(1.75")as shims on the rear bolt holes to get the seat angle(front to back) like I liked it then welded them on the adapter plate. Bolt the seat to the adapter plate , set it in the truck and bolt it down throgh the now hollow original pins. If you ever want to put the original seat back in just pull this out and set the original in, the pins are still there and fully functional.

PS: no, no word on tires yet, sorry.
