What we have here is a failure to communicate. I asked about someone with knowledge of a math formula to help me understand why the Dana recomended angle degrees where so flat and contradictory to their own applications. I was wondering if there was a different way to interpret the degree data. How can I be wrong by asking a question? I'm the one who first posted about parallel, long before the Dana data was mentioned. (good info too!) You responded with some totally unrelated basic info that is already common knowledge to most people with any experience and it had nothing to do with my question.
Perhaps I could have worded my question better but even after I tried to clarify my question you are still going on and on about about unrelated info that has already been rehashed. I am not an idiot, I know about parallel, I've probably been installing drivelines since before you were born, I know that the drawing is a chart and not scalable, I know how to read drawings, I was an associate engineer and architect in my youth. None of your responses had a dang thing to do with my question. PS, I noted the 16 degrees in my first post, days ago, not Dana. You seem to get the two confused.
Don't know why you are haveing such a hard time comprehending my original question and I appreciate any answers that are not condensending and relevant. Let's drop it, it is not very productive and has nothing to do with my question.
