First and foremost if you don't have much money to put into buying a powerwagon right now you're going to have far less after you start a restoration! Seconding what Paul wrote it depends on how much of the work you can perform and even then you'll spend wads of money. If you love working on these old trucks as most of us do, then gird your loins and go forth! However, if you really just want a great looking truck, you're much farther ahead to buy one that's already restored. As with most restorations you'll never get your money back out of them. Pride in craftsmanship and ownership is hard to put a realistic price. Look before you leap! Thats just my 2 cents worth!
