Sorry to hear of your loss, you have my heartfelt condolenses.
I do not think that the majority here (except maybe one or two) where fooled by those idiot posts. We all, for the most part, have a pretty good 'feel' for the mindset of the others on this forum, and a great many of us have met each other face to face at various events or have 'off-forum' e-mail correspondence on a regular basis.
Someone with their deck chairs not properly organized would probably not think of that before they began their little depravity.
Sometimes, to a person new to this forum, it might seem like there are a few of us that are constant riding each other, perhaps that does get taken to the extreme sometimes, but between true friends (Texans and Canadians don't count) the banter is a way to show friendship, even respect.
Maybe we need to work on that in the New Year, and maybe the fellow that posted saw the comraderie here and was jealous of it, we will never know, but I for one am dang glad that this forum exists, and I am thankful for the friendships that I have made here. (yes even with the Texans and Canadians dang it!)
