That was a good source and it confirms what I said about parallel (Fred, what is this drivel to whom you refer?ha!ha!)
The only thing that is in question is how they measure the so called 3 degree max angle, in their own "off-set" driveline sketch, my protractor shows it as 15 degrees??? Even allowing for all those years that I was stuck in second grade this is a large issue, and I have not observed too many factory set-ups that "flat".
Anyway the first diagram, shows exactly the off-set used in the Dodge Van, or a centered diff to offset transfer case, which was the begiinings of this entire discussion.
Also in surfing the Dana website, I discovered that Dana owns Getrag. That may put to rest some fears about the new Dodge transmissions?
