Aren't fat!
Merry Christmas Todd!

The Poly is a derivative of the Hemi motor, it produces more Horsepower and Torque in stock form than the 318LA. It compares favorably with the 360 in stock form as all 318’s 340’s and 360’s share the same basic block, with the LA standing for “Light A”. The Poly has a forged crank, better metal alloys were used in the production of the motor, and much better breathing than the LA series because of it’s valve train design and even and equal intake and exhaust runners. A stock Poly with a dual 4 bbl produced 290 HP, a stock Poly with a 4 bbl produced 260 HP and the stock Poly with a 2 bbl carb produced 202 HP, so you can see that the Poly was designed to breath and very little in the way of modification produced large performance gains. Parts are available, time prevents me from going more into details today, e-mail me and I’ll try to answer more in depth after Christmas.
Merry Christmas and God bless everyone (even you Marty!)
