Can you share details on your balancing efforts? I'm balancing the (nos) rods to 0.1 g; I think the worst was about 10 g off. My new pistons were already within .1g.
Did you use chrome or cast rings?
Do you have detonation and or gasket problems w 80 thou off the head? I decided to keep it down to 40 thou off due to high temps and low octane ratings for the local pump gas.
I have a spare "high performance" cam stashed if you need one; going to go with one of Asche's custom grinds for the final build.
