Get it rebuilt properly and there you go. been using the same one for a long time alternators are fine to even though the only thing it is on is a 51 farmall tractor. My expieance has been good once the truck was up and running it is very dependable and other than maintenance needs little. If you have any questions about the 8v call me at 817 937-6580.
