I have some info regarding the XM410E1. Not alot tho. There was an XM410 and a XM410E1. The XM410 was built around 1958-1959 by Chrysler Co. There were 6 prototypes made. These used a 361 industial engine with push button auto trans. The bodies were made of aluminum. They were amphibious. They are 8X8, and had full independant suspensions with the front 4 wheels that turn. THey used disk brakes on all 4 corners. I have located 4 of the 6 XM410 prototypes.

Now onto the XM410E1. They were also built by Chrysler, but were done up around 1965 or so. I have not seen one up close yet, but have located 3 of them. There was around 25 of the XM410E1 Prototypes built. I am sort of sketchy on the details of these E1's but were told they are upgraded and improved XM410's From what I been told, there are lots of differences as well. These run a Contenental Multifuel engine, pretty much the same as what is used in the M-35 series trucks. Thats about all I can say about them right now.

Sorry to those who I have not gotten the XM410 pics out to yet. I hope to create a album about them on my Imageevent site in the near future.
