So am I, only I'm going to Sarasota. These brutal Atlanta winters are just to much to bear without an ocassional foray to warmer climes. I used to live in Boca Raton, which for those who don't speak Spanish means Rat's Mouth.
For my money though, you can't beat the white sands (mostly quartz) of Lido Beach near Sarasota. The sand is so fine it's like confectionary sugar.
