Norton is for viruses. Spyware is a different animal altogether. Spyhunter will NOT stop viruses. So you need both products.
As of right now, there is no single product that will do a good job of stopping both viruses and spyware.
The newer versions of Symantec (the corporate version of Norton) has a spyware removal tool in it. Quite frankly, it works poorly at best.
Currently, spyware is a much more significant issue than viruses are (heard anything about viruses in the news lately?). But you still need the protection that a good antivirus product offers.
