Your 2nd stage clear coat needs buffing. That probably wasn't included in the paint quote since it's a lot more labor. 2 stage is easier to fix if you need it, color on the repair, clear coat over that, then buff to match the surrounding area. Can't do that with single stage, you'd have to paint the entire panel and have a hard time matching the rest. But 2 stage won't give you the vintage truck look, it will look like a new truck with the deep gloss finish.
