History has hit me hard tonight.
My mother pulled out an old photo album she had of my Grandmothers who was a scrapbooker before there were scrapbookers!

As I'm reading letters from Grandpa to Grandma from during WWII (Grandpa was a waist gunner on a B-24 Liberator)And was also shot down and became a POW for two years, I turn the page to his discharge papers and low and behold there's this photo!....

Mom says "O yea I remember that truck, but I thought it was a ford?" Grandpa's first new truck ever I guess and he was proud of
it judging from the lettering. Now I judge the truck to be a 52-53 job rated?

I am guessing from this pic that it was a bigger truck as noted from what looks to be extended front fenders 1 1/2 ton maybe?
I am calling all who might have photo's of this truck in the family to try and track it down! Hopefully I can come up with some better pics.

In the meantime I need your help. As you can see by the lettering this would be a hard truck to forget if you happened to see it in a junk yard! Grandpa died in 57 and mom doesn't remember what happened to the truck. They lived in Hinckley MN and it would most likely have stayed in the area I would guess, PLEASE if any of you junkers (Eric, John G, ect) have seen this truck or thought you might have seen it please let me know! Check through your junking photo's, I know I would have taken a pic of this truck had I seen it and most likely so would you!

Maybe WI or somewhere in MN this truck still resides! I don't care what kind of condition it's in or even if it's just in pieces! I WANT THAT TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I guess now I know where the Dodge blood in me came from.
Thanks
Judd
