Oh I'm real happy with my truck, don't get me wrong. If I was buying another tomorrow I'd buy another Dodge but the Fords definitely have some features that are miles ahead of Dodge...starting with a proper auto transmission. The Ford 5 speed Auto is so far superior to the Dodge that Dodge should be embarrased. I'm not sure why they keep installing this same dog? I'm seriously considering droping my truck at DTT Transmissions or Suncoast & having them fix it. $6000 later it will work well but the stock 48RE is a joke.
My only attraction to the Dodge Ram is the Cummins engine...the rest of the truck is below the other 2...that's my opinion but the Cummins is so much better it makes up for Dodges mistakes....That oughtta get Norm going huh? Ha Ha!
Jerry the wheels are Accuride #29015 rims built for GM. To use them on a Dodge you need to enlarge the hole for the hub from 4.567"-4.773" They will only work on a DRW but I'm sure Rickson must make rims for the SRW trucks- www.ricksontruck.com
My tires are Bridgestone 724F 245/70R19.5
They are 33.5" Diameter.
