Here's some posts: WAW

Shocks
- I have bought shocks for my 48 B1 twice, 1985 Monroe Shock part #6840 @ $30 each 1993 TRW Shock part #341-83225 @ $36 each
- I have nice new big yellow Monroe truck & bus shocks on my M37 (stock length) and PW (a bit longer than stock due to new higher springs). They are same size as original, same eye size, same piston size. Not cheap at about $80 each. Either pull an old one off front and rear or measure/calculate fully compressed and extended lengths and go to a Monroe dealer. They should have a section in their book giving part #s vs. travel dimensions. The part # for the front on the M37 is 74025.
- M37, Someone once told me they're actually aircraft shocks! It took me about 8 years to find some (used), and I think I've got the same all around. The ORD 9 manual lists 'em as: Front: G741-7373739, GK-FHB754, MAE-80012, CC-1269522, CC-1271258, CC-1273146 Rear: G741-7373740, GK-FHB820, MAE-80013, CC-1269523, CC-1271259, CC-1273147. GK=Gabriel Co., MAE=Monroe Auto Equip Co., and (of course) CC=Chrysler Corp.
