The extremely low gear ratio on the M37 is a real problem. It will get there, but when? You can, of course, change gear ratio or run big tires to get around this.
I know of civilian PW's being driven daily. Keep up w/routine maintc and you will be OK.
Also, the 1941 WC 1/2 tonner seem to work well as daily drivers.
