Guess I should first say that I want a truck for regular stuff, like picking up lumber and sheetrock for home projects, hauling a few dirt bikes, bombing around on a Saturday, driving to a backwoods machinegun shoot. I also want something to drive in the snow that's 4WD. I drive 28 highway miles to work and winter driving is a bitch.

I could get a late model used truck, but I like older trucks. Had a 54 Dodge Job Rated C-1-B-8 (259, or was it 261, OHV factory V8...three speed column shift...7 1/2' bed...ran great...started in coldest winters even w/6v batt). Sold that number of years ago and now I've gotta have a Power Wagon. Really like way WM300 looks, but been told M37 much tougher for off road use. Like I said, I probably wouldn't do much really heavy off road use, at least, not like the kind I see on TV shows where they cross 3 foot deep ruts and go straight up hills.

But I'd like to hear from those who know these trucks.

Thanks in advance to all,
Wayne
