I don't have my books in front of me, but...

4B is an "older" design that is a normally aspirated 4 cylinder unit.
4BT is the some motor with a turbo added.
4BTA is same motor with an integrated aftercooler added, tops out around 125hp@2500rpm but can be tweeked to 2800rpm).

B3.9 is the motor that replaced the ones above. Bassically the same motor (to quote the local distributor)
but is is quieter, more efficient, and can run on JP-A, K1 or K2, and Diesel 1 and 2. Also available
as normal aspiration, turbo, and turbo-aftercooled. Tops out at 130hp@2500rpm (but can be tweeked to 2800rpm).

The 6A3.4T that I located is a six cylinder turbo 3.4 Liter that produces 120hp@3600rmp. Charlie talked about
these on an earlier forum. I think that he said they would be too long for a M37, don't know about the others.

All the dealers (including the factory distributors) list these motors as fan to flywheel in order that they can be
custom fit to thier intended application. For that matter, the accessories such as the starter, alternator, air compressor,
power steering pump, etc. are also options...

Cummins lists their ratings for the newer stuff on their website...
