Whoa!!
Did I get alot of emails, I'm glad to see
there is so much interest.
I would like to thank Paul Cook in Texas
for prompting me to answer these questions
he proposed.
Here goes
1. Is this event Exclusive? No, everyone is welcome
to attend, wether you own a power wagon or not.
2 Where is it being held? Glendale City College
is now what I'm aiming for due to ample parking
for all these vehicles, That is in sunny Southern
California, right outside of Los angeles on a Sunday. Its as
freeway close as you can get around here.
3 Is it a trail ride?? No it is not a trail ride,
you show up and display your truck for all to
enjoy and admire, and probably get a trophy.
Although a trail ride independent of the show
on saturday would be neat.
4 What are the fee's? I will attempt to get
sponsors so the pre-registration will be
next to nothing. It will entitle you lunch,
and a attendance trophy, and a space to display your truck.
5. What trucks are invited
All military dodge 4x4's
All civilian dodge 4x4's(flat fenders and town wagons and pick-ups)
2-wheel drive dodge trucks
(and yes we are flexible if your truck doesnt
fall into a year listed, and you want to attend.)
6 Isnt this going to conflict with other regional
events? Yes, it might rub against the Texas show,
but here's the skinny,There are probably about 50-100
people and trucks who just cant go to the mid-west
or back-east to see a show, This show will be
their ONLY REALISTIC opportunity to attend
an Event that caters to their interests. So
it might cause a handful of people in the midwest
and backeast to miss-out(although I hope like hell
they can make it!)The people here on the west coast
will at last have a regional show close enough to
attend.
