I personally received a few phone calls from some business people concerning an e-mail posted by Richard Oden.
First off I have to say its a sad world when an individual has got to rattle on and on over his own decisions.
Let me now state the facts to those of you who would ever think we run a scam artist business.
Boyce Equipment has been in business over 40 years with customers all over America and foreign counties.
We offer military truck parts and 4x4 products.
6 years ago we purchased over 2000 M-880 transfere cases in boxes.
These units were purchased from the government at a reduced price with no warranties.
We started selling them 6 years ago in national advertisements.
When an individual reads the ad and calls we tell them the facts.
The surplus NP-203 is sold with no warranty for $150.00. We also tell them that we turn the input shaft and shift them, if it sounds good, no noises we ship them out.
We tell them that we do not tear them apart. You cannot check-out a transfere by looking in the PTO cover.
For $150.00 they are sold as surplus cores, if you get one that works and appears rebuilt (great) if not you have most parts to make one out of two, a rebuilt is offered for $495.00 with a 90 day warranty. If it is a rebuilt unit, one in which we replace the chain, seals, gaskets, if found to be defective, we replace it and ship it out at no charge, we even reimburse the labor, no questions asked.
You can not sell them for $150.00 with a guarantee , not way, we told him this. He says we did not. Like I’m going to rip a guy off for $150.00.
Boyce Equipment has never scammed or ripped any body off .
I let my 40 years in the mail order business speak for itself.
Mr Oden was told of this policy and he called US and ordered a surplus unit to save money. He claims he put it in and it did not work.
He called upset and belligerent to Owen who told him in detail that we would send another complete unit at no-charge, all he had to do was pay freight.
We again have sold these and still sell them with no problems, just Richard’s.
How can you sell over 1,200 of them and still sell them to builder’s, and user’s, with no problems

We have been told time and time again how friendly our people are to work with, and how willing we are to help.
I guess anyone can get on his computer and rattle on about what ever is troubling him.
I suggest Mr. Oden get a life, instead of rattling on and calling people immature names, and trying to make a respectable business look bad.
I hardly now anybody on this web page. I am being judged by people who have never met me or dealt with me, just accusations, how unfortunate.
We tried to be more than fair, I quess you can’t please everybody especially Mr Oden.
And I hope he comes in one day so I can meet the man that hides behind his words.
