The aproach I'm taking with the "I wanna' do 65 in 4th and 1 mph in low" syndrome is to design an overdrive that will replace the t-case rear drive shaft output housing with an overdrive Similar to the spicer Jeep overdrive. That way you can have the best of both worlds and when running at high speed everything including the t-case would be turning slower (less noise and wear). BTW I just finished installing power steering in my '51 power wagon. Will try to get time to upload photos next week. I'm Currently making 10 conversion sets that will work on the flathead 6.
