Just so you all will know, the Ford 1.5 ton GTB 4x4 cargo truck is the ONLY low silhouette vehicle to make it into production during WWII. There were many experimented with, but they didn't make it.

Only 2,200 were built. Most went to the USN as cargo and bomb trucks. The US Army did use some, though. They are uncommon. The funny looking panel to the side of the radiator is a tool box. The driver sat mostly next to the engine, which was offset to the right. The windshield was offset to the left.

If it is a near complete truck it could be a unique resto. If a lot of pieces are missing, boy, you are going to have 'fun' tracking them down.

Because of the tightt engine compartment, repowering with a V engine is pretty much out.
