Dumb and Dumbest

I have this friend who was so stupid while changing his distributor wires on his 67 WM300 that I forgot, I mean HE forgot to note on his distributor cap which was the number one terminal. Now obviously, anyone with the good sense to have a good ole 251-3 engine in a great old truck could have the common sense to go to the trouble to find the number one piston at the top of the compression stroke and know that his rotor would be aligned with the number one terminal. But since this guy is not only dumb, but also lazy, maybe some other kind-hearted Power Wagon person could tell me, I mean this dumb guy, that when you view the installed distributor with the cap correctly installed, and using very basic positions like the the distributor cap retaining clips attach at 10 and 4 o'clock, there are terminals to receive sparkplug wires at 1,3,5,7,9, and 11 o'clock, the number one terminal is at ______o'clock. (Apparently, though quite dumb, he did manage to learned to tell time by the time he graduated college.) Thanks a lot and I'm sure my friend, who once put a volkswagen distributor in 180 degrees out of timing, will be greatful, too.
