I realise that this site caters for mainly the older trucks, but mike morris figured that somebody on the forum might know.
I have recently bought a Dodge truck, the seller was a bit unsure of what it is but told me he thought it was a W150. But I'm not so sure, could anyone help me and put me on the right track. I need to get some parts together pretty soon, so things might work out a bit better if I knew the model and spec etc:)
Firstly it is a two wheel drive, with a locking rear diff, apparently. Straight six slant engine with auto box. I have taken the vir number off the door, which coincides with the sticker on the door frame. The number is D14BB85218257 There is a number below this 007197 and the weight is stated as 06100. The model code is given as D10. But I haven't heard of anybody referring to a D10. Anyway I thought the D usually referred to 4 wheel drive, unless it's had a complete engine and transmission change! I think the truck came from Germany, and was assigned to the military there, but I have no confirmation on that. So there we are, any pointers? I really need to get a workshop manual, so any help in identifying this truck would be really appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.

Jon Ovington.
