I restored one and used it for awhile. Because of the location of the throttle my leg used to cramp up pretty bad and had to give the old boy up. Sold it. I did drive it to the Rally a couple of years ago. 1000 miles round trip. Not a bit of trouble. Averaged 45 mph and got 12 miles to gallon. Wore ear guards the whole trip.
Every nut and bolt is available off the shelf in any good hardware or auto parts store. I bought the wheel brake cylinders at NAPA.
A joy to restore. Had fun. Had a pretty good body and frame to start with. No bed though. I built a stake bed. They will run forever. Will tow the State of Delaware and climb a telephone pole in low range and four wheel drive.
Hard to drive unless you retrofit power steering which is available.
Have fun.
