Keep bugging the dealer, make him rent you a replacement when yours is in the shop, and bug the customer relations people (should have a 800 number). I had similar problems with a new Chevy 4x4 that I used for work, after about a year GM traded me out of it and gave me $3000 towards the new truck. Remember the old squeaky wheel principle, go past the service advisor and deal with the service manager. Good luck.
