To all PW forum users,
If you plan to bid on eBay, CHECK THE SELLERS FEEDBACK RATING. As you look at the item for sale,
it is the number in () next to the sellers name. Then you can click on "view comments in sellers feedback file",
to see what other ebay users say about the seller that you are thinking of purchasing an item from.
Read the product description carefully. Does it state facts about the product, or does it give the sellers exagerated
opinion? For example; " the product is in very good condition", to me, is an opinion. What the seller considers is in
"very good condition", may not be what I consider to be very good condition. You can also e-mail the seller and ask specific questions.
Look for items that are acompanied by a photo. THE PW SELLER DID NOT POST A PHOTO. He maybe hiding something.
It is not really any different than buying off this forum.
If the seller accepts cedit cards, they are most likely a very legit business.
Remember, you pay upfront without seeing the product in person. The description and hopefully a photo is all you have to go by.
I have had close to 40 purchases on ebay, including the Matchbox PW, all with very happy endings.
Mark
Since i have an ebay ID and Password, I was able to e-mail the people who bid on the PW that appears to be badly misrepresented. I told them
to check out this great and supportive forum that Joe Cimoch gives to us, and to click on the post left by "bz".
I hope this will help those people make an informed bid or retract their bid if they feel the seller has been deceitful.

this is a great forum, Thanks again, Joe C.
